Anhydro Dairy & Food is poised to assume an even greater role in the international dairy & food industry as well as associated industries.

The dairy and food industries are traditionally heavy users of drying and evaporation equipment and have always been a core segment for the technologies and solutions of Anhydro. The company has a long tradition as a supplier not only of process equipment but new process solutions, especially in whey processing.

Strong brand
"The Anhydro name is already recognized, especially in the international dairy industry, as an innovative and reliable supplier of evaporation and drying solutions," says Arne Skjold Petersen, Vice President, Anhydro Dairy & Food. "This adds weight to the market positions of the national Anhydro companies in Germany, the UK and the USA."

Complete food solutions
In addition to building on the company's existing reputation in the dairy industry, however, Arne Skjold Petersen expects the new Centre of Excellence to be able to build more effectively on other technologies, including Vetter filter presses and rotary dryers as well as Drytec flash dryers.

"My expectations of the new Dairy & Food Centre of Excellence is that by consolidating our experience, knowledge and expertise into one single entity, we will be able to leverage the entire range of our technologies to provide a complete range of evaporation, drying and filter press solutions for the food and food products industries," says Arne Skjold Petersen.

Specialization
Arne Skjold Petersen sees the new Anhydro brand as a universal platform for Anhydro to take its place in the "Champions League" of suppliers to the global Dairy & Food industries.

"We will obviously continue to specialize in what we do best and will concentrate on offering the best complete solutions within our own speciality fields," Arne Skjold Petersen concludes.
