Thomas Holst takes the reins at Anhydro A/S

Thomas Holst, 44, takes over the responsibility of Anhydro A/S as Managing Director as of 1^st September 2008. He holds an M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Diploma Engineer in Economics .

Thomas Holst came from a long career in Alfa Laval in Germany, Sweden and UK and started in Anhydro Group in 2004 as Managing Director of Anhydro GmbH and was in 2006 promoted to Vice President of Starch & Ethanol Europe.

At the same time he is taking over the responsibility of the Anhydro EMEA Region. This is part of the new organisational structure in Anhydro: One Global Company in 4 Regions. This gives Thomas Holst also the responsibility of the Anhydro companies in Kassel/Germany, Paris/France and Tonbridge/UK. Along with the EMEA region, he will be in charge of the 2 representation offices in Moscow/ Russia and Warsaw/ Poland and the agents in the region.

Together with Søren Sten Rasmussen and the team in Søborg we will further strengthen the Danish part of the Anhydro Group in combination with the other companies in the EMEA region" Thomas Holst said on the occasion of his appointment.

Søren Sten Rasmussen will assume the task as Executive Vice President, Sales in Anhydro A/S and the EMEA region and together with Thomas Holst assume the Executive Management of Anhydro A/S.

Søren Sten Rasmussen started in Anhydro A/S in 1993 and was since 2006 Vice President Industrial & Pharma. His career in Anhydro has also included Industrial Sales, and before that After Sales.

Thomas Holst takes over the responsibility after Allan Jørgensen, who will now focus on his role as CEO of the Anhydro Group. Allan Jørgensen has until now had this position as well as the position as Managing Director of Anhydro A/S. With the new management structure, Allan Jørgensen will focus on the future development of the Group and especially implementing the new Global strategy.
